  • About Faculty: Dr. Nishant Jain is an accomplished computer scientist and educator who is currently working as an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Madhav Institute of Technology & Science, Gwalior. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad, where he focused on developing advanced tree-based ensemble algorithms for classification and regression problems along with the explanability of the black box ensemble algorithms. With a strong academic background, including an M.Tech. with distinction from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya and a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering, Dr. Jain has demonstrated excellence in both research and teaching. His research interests span machine learning, data science, and algorithm design, with notable publications in high-impact journals such as Expert Systems with Applications and Information Sciences. Dr. Jain's professional experience includes roles as a teaching assistant at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad and an assistant professor at the Alpine Institute of Technology. He is skilled in various programming languages and software tools, and he has participated in multiple workshops and certification programs to stay at the forefront of his field.
