  • About Faculty: Dr. Amit Aherwar is actively working in the field of tribology, biomaterials, surface characterization, multi-material, and advanced composites, recycle/reuse of industrial wastes for engineering applications, and multi-criteria optimization. He has published more than 50 papers in indexed journals, edited 2 books (“Tribology and Surface Engineering for Industrial Applications” and “Progress in Lubrication and Nano and Biotribology” by CRC Press, 2021), and other papers at various national and international conferences. He has more than 12 years of teaching and research experience at UG/PG levels in MITS Gwalior and other Institutes. He is a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), International Association of Engineers, The Mineral, Metals & Materials Society (TMS), and also served as a reviewer of various international journals. He is also involved in several collaborative works in the area of advanced materials with foreign universities/colleges. He has guided 05 M.Tech Students and a number of B.Tech students have completed their degree in his areas of research. Currently, one PhD scholar is working on his areas of research.
