  • About Faculty: Dr. Minakshi Dahiya joined the Madhav Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh in 2021, where she is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering Mathematics and Computing. She has completed her Ph. D. from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) in the field of Computational Fluid Dynamics with her PhD. Thesis Title “Finite Element Study of Transport Phenomena in Complex Fluids”. She has also qualified GATE (Mathematics) and CSIR NET-JRF (Mathematical Science) examination. She has completed his Bachelors from HNB Garhwal University and Masters from Gurukul Kangri University with honors. Dr. Minakshi has worked as an assistant professor for four years in National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra (NIT KKR), Haryana, India. Also, she has gained teaching experience for five years as a research Scholar at IIT Roorkee. During teaching, she has taught different courses related to mathematics and computing subject. She has publications in SCI/SCIE (7), ESCI/Web of Science (1) and Scopus indexed (1) international Journals of highly repute. Her research interests are Finite Element Method, Heat and Mass Transfer, Transport phenomena, Complex Fluids, Non-Newtonian Flow. She is reviewer of many international Journals (Journal of Porous Media, International Journal of computational methods, Journal of Applied Fluid Mechanics, Multidisciplinary Modeling in Materials and Structures, Journal of Applied Mathematics etc.). She is also member of several professional bodies and societies. She has organized various webinars/ competitions/ workshops. She has qualified four SWAYAM-NPTEL Courses with grade Elite with silver. Apart from this, she has also qualified all the eight Modules of “National Initiative Technical Teachers Training (NITTT)”, AICTE.
