  • About Faculty: Dr. Vijay Shankar Sharma joined MITS-DU Gwalior in July 2024 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering Mathematics and Computing. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Gwalior, where his research focused on bifurcation, resonance, and control in discrete-time ecological systems. Vijay completed his M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Mathematics from Jiwaji University, Gwalior. His research interests include Mathematical Biology, Mathematical Modelling, Population Dynamics and Dynamical Systems. He has received several academic awards, including fellowships from the MPYSC and CSIR-UGC, and has cleared competitive exams such as GATE and MP SET. He has taught various mathematical subjects and has technical skills in software like Mathematica, MATLAB, MATCONT, and LaTeX. His notable publications include research articles in reputed journals. Vijay has also participated in and presented at numerous conferences and workshops, and is an active member and reviewer for several scientific organizations.
