About Faculty: Dr. Akhilesh Tiwari is working as Professor (Information Technology) since 22nd December 2015 at Madhav Institute of Technology & Science (MITS), Gwalior (M.P.), India. He worked as Dean (Academics) @ Madhav Institute of Technology & Science- Deemed University, Gwalior for the period from 1st January 2025 to 24th October 2025. In the recent past, he also headed Department of Information Technology (for the period from 10th March, 2025 to 12th January 2026) and Head of Centre for Computer Science & Technology (CST) (for the period from 1st July 2024 to 24th October 2025) at MITS -Deemed University, Gwalior. He also worked as Director, Samrat Ashok Technological Institute (SATI) (Degree), Vidisha, M.P. from 3rd October 2023 to 16th January 2024. In the past times also, he headed the Department of CSE & IT (from March 2018 to December 2020) and Department of Information Technology (from December 2020 to September 2023) at MITS Gwalior. His area of current research includes Knowledge Discovery in Databases & Data Mining, Terrorist Network Mining, Hesitation Mining and Pattern Warehousing, AI & ML, Internet of Things. He has published more than 90 research papers in the Journals & Conferences of International repute, which includes publications in international publishing houses such as IGI Global USA, Springer, Inderscience, Taylor & Francis (CRC Press) and Elsevier with SCI, SCIE and SCOPUS indexing. He has published 13 Book Chapters in the Edited Books and also an editor of three Books with publication houses - IGI Global USA, Springer, Taylor & Francis (CRC Press). He has successfully supervised and guided Nine (09) PhD Thesis from various universities in India & more than 20 dissertations at Master’s level and at present guiding (ongoing) 03 PhD scholars. He has also been granted one international patent. Previously, he worked as chairman of Board of Studies (BoS) in Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology and BoS in Computer Science & Technology (CST) at MITS Gwalior. He also contributed as Chairman of Research Advisory Committees (RACs) for the PhD Scholars at MITS Gwalior, worked as Member Secretary in the Academic Council, presently Member of IQAC cell, worked as member in the Academic Development Cell, Presently, member - Academic Advisory Cell (AAC) at MITS-Deemed University, Gwalior (M.P.), India. Also working as member in the Board of Studies of Computer Science & Engineering at Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal, India, member in the Board of Studies in Information Technology at Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET), Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Indore, India. He is also acting as a reviewer & member in the editorial board/ program committees of various international Journals & Conferences. He has been honoured with the “Outstanding Young Person of Gwalior Award” in 2014 by the JCI Gwalior. He has been honoured with the award of recognition for significant contribution in the “Implementation and preparation of structure of Flexible Curriculum based on AICTE model curriculum” at MITS Gwalior. He has significantly contributed in preparing NEP 2020 Action Plan for the Integration of National Education Policy (NEP 2020) in the Curriculum at MITS Gwalior and also awarded with the Certificate of Recognition for the same. He is having the memberships of various Academic/ Scientific societies including IETE, GAMS (Gwalior Academy of Mathematical Sciences), IACSIT, and IAENG. He is also in the expert panel /selection committees of various agencies / universities/ institutions of India, including National Institute of Electronics &Information Technology (NIELIT), Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Govt. of India. Worked as nominated member of Hon'ble Governor of Madhya Pradesh in the Board of Management (BoM) of Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya Vishwavidyalaya (MGCGV) (NAAC "A" Grade - India’s First Rural University), Chitrakoot for the period from 26th October 2021 to 25th October 2024. Currently, also contributing as nominated external expert member in the School Board of School of Basic & Applied Sciences at Central University of Jammu, w.e.f. 25.05.2023 for the period of three years.

About Faculty: Sanjiv Sharma (B.E.(IT), M.Tech(IT), Ph.D.) working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology in Madhav Institute of Technology and Science (MITS), Gwalior. He has been Lecturer in Amity School Engineering & Technology, New Delhi. He has 17 year of teaching and research experience. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from Banasthali University, Jaipur. He has edited One book for Springer publisher & more than 100 research publications in various reputed international journals, book chapters, and conferences. He has guided Five Ph.D. scholars, 25 M. Tech. scholars, and currently supervising three (03) Ph.D. scholars in various eminent universities of India. His research interest includes data mining, social network analysis, big data analytics, network security, and outcome-based education (OBE).He has patents ( 1 Granted and 3 filed) in his credit. Currently He is working on AICTE funded CRS project "cognitive literary studies for the progress of cognitive computational studies". as an CO-PI and published a springer book on "big data analysis in cognitive social media and literary text" as an editor and author. About Faculty: Dr. Vikram Rajpoot working in the Department of Information Technology as an Assistant Professor in MITS College Gwalior.He received his B.E. in Information Technology from MITS Gwalior in 2010, M. Tech in Information Technology from SATI, Vidisha in 2012 and PhD in Frequent Pattern Mining from MGCGV Chitrakoot University, Satna in 2019. He has published 39 research papers in different reffered journal out of which 7 are SCI journals and 9 Scopus journal. He is inventor in 7 indian and international patents. He has guided 14 dissertation for the award of MTech degree. He has more than 10 years of teaching experience, and his fields of interest are Frequent Pattern Mining and Machine Learning.
