Laboratories

 

 

Basic Electronics Lab

Under graduate Lab: Major experiments are related to : Designing of Rectifiers, clipper ,Clamper, oscillators, Characteristics analysis of Diodes, BJT and MOSFET. Electronic Circuit design and its verification using advanced Workstation that incorporates multimeter, function generator, power supply and CRO in a single platform.


Project Lab

The purpose of Project Laboratory is to enable the students to get familiar with hardware and software tools through hands-on mode. Project Lab is used for conducting presentations and demonstration related to the Minor Projects, Major Projects, Skill-based projects, Internship and other activities. It provides space for students to apply theoretical knowledge, engage in hands-on learning, and develop innovative solutions. The lab is equipped with hardware facilities like Antenna Testing facility, Spectrum analyzer, Digital Storage oscilloscope, PCB-prototyping machine, Function generator, PCB Soldering/ De-soldering Machine, etc for the execution of projects. Moreover, PhD and M.Tech scholars carry out their research problems in this lab.


Computer Lab 

Under graduate and Post graduate Lab: Major experiments are related to : Basic Mathematical experiments using MATLAB/Scilab : Simulation of various engineering problems in MATLAB/Scilab and other tools , Qualnet : Network Simulation using GNS,CST :Antenna designing.

 


Communication Lab

Under Graduate Lab : Major experiments are related to: Sampling and reconstruction, analyze pulse amplitude and width modulation, generation of amplitude shift key signal, phase shift key signal, frequency shift key signal using MATLAB/Scilab software.

 


Digital and Microprocessor Lab

Under Graduate Lab : Major experiments are related to: Assembly language program to generate standard waveforms using DAC and display waveforms on CRO with 8085,obtain 2 s complement of a number, interfacing 8253 Timer with 8086 in different modes.


5G Communication Network Lab

(Developed by C-DOT)

5G Communication Network Lab developed by C-DOT, Bangalore at MITS-DU Gwalior serves as 5G
test bed solution. The solution is likely to benefit the faculty and students in the following ways.

  • Gaining practical insights into an end-to-end 5G system.
  • Developing a deeper understanding of 3GPP specifications for 5G RAN and Core networks.
  • Enhancing system capabilities while exploring new 5G use cases and applications.
  • Providing a foundation for advanced research and specification development for 6G technologies.
